I play BBb tuba in a brass band and I'm about ready to buy a new horn. I heard that Pat Sheridan promotes the Besson line of horns so I assume they're pretty good. I'm particilary interested in the model 993, BBb, front action piston 4-valve. Anybody have any experience with this horn? What do you think of it? How is the company (Boosey & Hawkes) to deal with? I'd like to try one before buying but haven't been able to find a dealer that stocks them (including Brasswind). Thanks for any feedback.
