I checked out the current Sanders line earlier this year and noticed quite a few questionable design items that may not hold up to institutional use. The leadpipe/receiver comes around too far and makes holding the tuba awkward. Also, the wrap of the fourth valve slide is, IMHO, shaded too far on the outside of the larger branches which leaves it easily open to damage. This is visible from the photos that are in CMC's catalog. The horns sound pretty good, but these points would keep me from purchasing the horns for a school. Just a bit more than $.02
