I'm in college now and I'm going for a double major. I'm majoring in both Accounting and Music Education. If you are considering a degree in Performance or Music, consider a double major; back up in case something doesn't work out and a field that could hold you down (computers, chemistry, accounting, engineering, etc) until you get the job that you really want (Music).
