How did I afford my Tuba? Quite simply Ebay. I decided how much I needed to spend and then the great ebay garage sale began. You liquidate all the junk you have laying around that you don't use. I was shocked what people would pay for it!! Somebody paid me $26.00 for an old pair of ex-rental bowling shoes!
Bottom line is, if you want a horn - you gotta make the sacrifice and effort to do whatever it takes to pay for it. Even if that means flippin' whoppers at Burger King in the evenings after work/school. A loan is a good idea, but you still have to earn the cash to make the payments.
