I own both the Monette 97 and the Dillon - Sheridan 02. The D. S. 02 is quite different from the Monette. It is more similar to a helleberg. It is a very fine mouthpiece, I don't know how it would work on a sousaphone. One factor to consider is that these mouthpieces have a fairly large size shank, I'm not sure how well that would mate with the standard receiver on a sousaphone.
