I have found a few books that I like to use by myself. The Rubank Advanced Method is what I usually start my High School students with. Thge most difficult part of self teaching is being able to actually hear what you sound like and not what you imagine. Work with a metronome at various tempos, look for a study book such as Vasilov (sp) or a melodious etude book. Best of luck.
