Earlier this year I was shopping for a tuba versatile enough for use in my brass quintet,
I sampled (among other horns) two different Hirsbrunner HB2's and a B&S 4196 (PT4P)
I bought the B&S, but if I had the extra cash easily available I think I'd have preferred one of the HB2's. Either way, I think I'd prefer owning a Benz to a Passat - different cars but both enjoy-able in their own way.
