I guess a 1 1/2G does have a narrower rim than the run-o-the-mill 6 1/2AL, etc., but not nearly as narrow as the "razor-edged" stock Schilke 59 and 60.

I stick with my recommendation of the Joe M. NORMAL WIDTH rim bass tbn. mouthpieces, although their interiors might be a bit too huge.

I have sold a YEOmaha mouthpiece. It seems like the price to my friend was somewhere around $100 - about the price of 3 decent professional quality oboe reeds (which might last a week each).

Ain't it nice that once we DO buy a mouthpiece, it lasts FOREVER, or when we buy a tuba, it NEVER needs a $600 repadding job?
