I've got one, and I'm going to get another. I love these instruments BUT, they have a really limited application, like big band and orchestra stuff. They are really too big for solo and ensemble work, unless you are playing in a PJBE-type of ensemble. If you are a one tuba person, your best bet is a large bore 4/4 tuba. If you ONLY do band and orchestra playing, MOST things can be done on the Yorkbrunner-type of horns. Tony Clements
