Sticky with bubbles? You sprayed the coats on too thick.
1) Remove the brass section from the fiberglass section
2) Sand off new paint (dust mask and coarse to medium sandpaper through hardware store or crafts store).
3) Buy a textured paint product that makes things look like they were made of stone PLASTI-KOTE brand Fleck Stone. They are always sold out of the all white, so settle for soapstone. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS and apply the base coat.
4) Apply 2 LIGHT coats of PLASTI-KOTE white.
5) On the bell flair, it is traditional to be smooth white on the part that faces the audience. Sand that smooth getting down to a fine grit, then paint with maybe 3 LIGHT coates of white.
Allow yourself all day or weekend even. Paint needs to dry between coats.
