Have you checked to see if the screws anywhere on the linkage parts are loose and need to be tightened and adjusted to make the linkage tight. You can check this by holding the arm tight on the valve and trying to move the arm. If there is play and the arm moves then you are out of adjustment and that will cause this clicking.

Another problem is the back bearing gets loose and the rotor slaps inside. This is easily fixed by taking off the back cover and taking the arm off the top of the rotor to the linkage. Then taking a long dowell joint at least 1/2 inch wide and an small hammer and tap the bearing down tight again tapping it lightly. Don't hammer it hard. You can usually hear it hit the bottom, the tapping pitch will change. I use a 1 inch dowell and drill a hole in the end of it a little bigger than the nipple on the bottom of the bearing plate. This way the dowell taps the whole bearing plate down at one time evenly.

Then grab the rotor from top and spin it and make sure it spins freely and fast. If it doesn't then lightly tap on the top of the rotor a little(don't over due it) till the rotor spins fast again. Then put it all back together again.
If the other suggestions don't fix it, i usually found this did. Played rotors for 25 years and now playing them again.
