I will be studying with Don again this year. I studied with him at Eastman from 96-98. He didn't really have us audition for spots in wind ensemble, etc. He has had us play mock auditions with pieces ranging from Meistersinger and Mahler 1 to Prokofiev 6 and a band transription of Hungarian March in the key of D-flat. I can't say enough about his teaching or his playing. Hope to meet you sometime this year.
