I also purchased one of the BBb Weril's (from Joe S. in fact) and I have been more than pleased. I wanted a small horn for use in a smallish community band and some brass quintets. I find the sound to quite good and the valve action to be smooth and fast. I do agree with Art that the reciever is a little low (I am 6') and I find I need to rest the horn on a towel on my leg to play it comfortably.
Overall I find it to be an outstanding little horn for the price.
