We purchased one of these tubas for my 6th grade son who started on tuba. We knew nothing about the instruments, but major crisis with the school tubas ment buy one or he would have to give up playing. We came across The Baltimore Brass web page in our many searches for info as to what to get for him, and have never regretted our purchase. David Fedderly was excellent to work with. Even to the point of helping my son with fingerings and pitches so he could try out several tubas. If my son ever advances to the point of upgrading, we will head straight for the Baltimore Brass Co.
