I also have liked the Jupiter 582s that I played. There are other horns that I like better, but I thought that the Jupiter was a good horn for the money. I have been told that the quality of Jupiter instruments has significantly improved from years ago when they were trouble prone. If you are looking at used horns try to buy one made in the past 3 or 4 years and you should be fine.
For a little more money the new King 2341 will be available in a satin silver finish. I like the way the King plays better than the Jupiter, but you should try them out side by side and decide for yourself.
