No one has mentioned it yet, but I would recommend a Conn 5J either new or used. Even new they are in the $3K range from Dillon's last I checked and are built like tanks. They also have excellent intonation, four valves and are a "big" 3/4 horn. They have a good clear sound and resale should be good even on a new one. Best of luck.
