All of this talk confuses me...I always positioned my sousa the way that seemed to make sense....the bell faced forward, the bottom lip of the bell being in front of my forehead. The valves sat in the center, but slightly off to the right. Was this correct??? Also, could someone please post what they mean by the correct way to hold a sousaphone, so I have a better idea what you guys mean.
