I use a Monette 94F with an adapter. I also use my large Monette 94 (without the adapter) for a larger and wider sound. Most of the top mouthpiece brands (Schilke, Bach, Dillon line) make large shanks that would fit. Also, making a customized adapter is possible without to much difficulty. I had Ken Pope of Pope Repair in Jamaica Plain outside Boston make a removable adapter for my Monette to fit an Alex CC I used to have. However, with the mass variety of mouthpieces we have available today, finding one that works for you and fits the horn shouldn't be to difficult. Generally, a mouthpiece labeled "large shank" should fit without a problem. What mouthpiece do you use right now?
