Fun most certainly should be a part of any game or trade!

But there are those sad bad habbits, which have a tendency to enter the playground, when the brain is switched to a level below even that of "Stand By".

15 or 20 years ago I heard a performance by an ensemble, which was devoted to the performance of the entire set of opuses by exactly the composer in question.

I left the site thoroughly uncomfortable with the performance of the polkastyle trumpet 16th triplets. Internally re-singing them again and again.

Suddenly realising what was wrong:

They did not play 16th triplets. They played groups of three 32nd notes followed by a 32nd rest.

Just one sample of a "school of performance", which basically is founded on braindead practising.
