If you are looking for an all around good 4/4 BBb tuba, which I feel, fits many different applications, I would recommend the new King 2341. I know I sound like a broken record, but I am smitten what can I say. It is not an overly large 4/4 horn , in fact the valve bore is small, but that makes it a flexible horn with a good upper range. Yet due to the large bell the sound can fill a room nicely and will provide a good foundation for a 15 piece brass choir. One question about the brass choir...Are the other performers using large bore symphonic style horns, or are they using smaller bored instruments?

A few years ago I heard a 10 piece group, in which the tuba player used a little Czerveny Piggy CC and he sounded just fine. So I would also reiterate my recommendation of the MW18 which is comparable in size.
