I really don't think that most people who stick stuff on their instruments have any idea what they are doing nor how LITTLE they are doing.
One think that you didn't cover was the percentage of change (and in what, and how to measure) that any one of these gadgets offers.
Would perhaps the most effective of these be measured (as a portion of 1%) with more or less than 100 decimal points to the right of zero?
