Many military web sites, including military bands, have been possible targets of cyber-terrorism. In order to protect their systems, the DOD has greatly limited, and sometimes ceased, entry to sites with the .mil address. I am not an authority on this, I just know what has been discussed at work and in the news. Keep trying but for now the best way may be the old way.
