Anthony,
If you mean the new audio DVD's, I have a friend that loves to buy new technology. Lucky for me I spend a lot of time at his house and he loves classical music. I have heard a few recordings on the DVD's and I thought that they were fabulous. I don't know if I would drop the money right now, I have a few bills to get through before I could justify that bill, but the clarity is amazing. I have heard the often missed parts of the orchestras like the bassoons and low strings. These instruments seem to come out more. I would suggest listening to the system if at all possible. They do have some pictures of the composer and of historic things but I don't really care about that stuff.
I hope this helps you.
Henry
