I tried the new set of Kalisons at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Germany, back in the spring. They are really quite good; better than the DS series, IMO. I tried the large CC and F. The CC is a good 5/4 size (though they list it as a 6/4) and has a great, big sound and good intonation. It's not too heavy and the response is fine. The girl I was with (who is only about 5' 3") sounded incredible on it, even if she was reaching as far around as she could just to hold it.
The F is also very nice. The intonation is pretty solid. This horn is comparable to the Yamaha 822 F.
Overall, the company is making some pretty good quality horns. Give them a shot!
