I recall the convention in Chicago at Northwestern. The opening concert was done by North Texas State's Tuba and Euphonium choir. One of the pieces they did was the Adagio for Strings. It was beautiful. The most moving performance of it I have ever heard.
I wonder if anyone has a recording of THAT.
