You wil get lots of posts but none are accurate. There seems to be a conception that this is something that you can do a Letterman-type top 10. What about an emerging teacher - 20 years ago would you put Univ of Northern Iowa there? Fritz Keanzing's first job was there! He's the same player then as now, just different location. Yes, there are those who have a reputation for turning students out that get jobs. Maybe that should be the subject. Schools change, teachers change. For example look at the Univ of Cincinnati - Tim Northcutt has done a hell of a job in a short period of time. What about some smaller schools? There are performing opportunities that some will never get at a degree factory. Now we are in the internet age, how about the Univ. of Phoenix? Cyber tuba lessons.

The moral of the story is that it is impossible to do a list of this kind even though it comes up every once in a while. Why bother!
