Yes, he played in the Oklahoma Symphony for quite a while.. until they went under. He is teaching at Ball State University in scenic Muncie, IN now. Wonderful guy. Very Humble with plenty of knowledge and natural talent. I'm glad to call him a friend.. although not usually in public. ;b I can put you in touch with him if you like.

I remember seeing your horn at the CCO audition. I do know that up until last summer he was playing on a Miraphone. I had always presumed that it was the same horn that he played when he went to Eastman. He has since moved to one of those rotory 4/4 Hirsbrunner CCs courtesy of Sam Gnagey.

For those folks that really think you need $10,000+ instruments with a dozen widgets hanging off of it to get a paying gig take note. Dr. Mordue held down the Oklahoma job with a bog standard Miraphone CC and a Yamaha 321 Eb.
