If you´re sliding around on your Mpc once it gets wet, it suggests to me that you´re trying to remain glued to it by ceeping it dry. Now, I´ve myself developped a much better grip - not on the mpc - on the sound and the buzz on my lips after chcangeing from a dry embouchure to a wet one. I alllways try to keep my lips and emouchure-area slightly wet in order to be more flexible betweeen lips and mpc. At first it took some getting used to it, but felt alot better afterwards and has done me real good. Maybe consider going for generally playing with a wet embouchure like Phil Farkas states it in "The art of brass playing". It´s the ONE leaf I´ve taken out of his book.
