remember that a stencil horns is not a copy of a name brand, it is the same instrument, made in the same factory, but with a different name on the bell. For example, Cerveny sells it's horns also as Conn internetional. It was the same way with the old Sanders, but the new ones are made in China.
Once I worked in a music store (not BM) that rented instruments to local schools. We had one Band director in the city that would always tell students to bring Vito alto Sax's back to our store, and go get a Yamaha at a different store. The Vito student line was built in the same factory with the same parts as the Yamaha YAS-23, but it had a different color lacquer.
