Many have already been made. Whether "many" means "dozens" or "hundreds" I do not know. They were scheduled for distribution last September, but Besson was not satisfied with the lacqeur job (what I was told is that the Besson people thought the laquer job was "too German"). I was told this same thing by three different people with direct connections to Besson, so I consider it to be factual.
This was several months ago(almost a full year ago). I believe Besson sent the horns back to Walter Nirchl because of the finish. I also believe that the number of horns in question is 56. This was told to me by one person with ties to Besson, and based on my hazy memory, so you can consider it speculation.
