I don't know how "new" the Space Filler for tight valves is, I used it for several years on my last tuba. I really liked it because it seemed to work for a long period of time so I didn't have to oil up all of the time. Periodically I'd disassemble the valves, wash and rinse them well, swab out the cylinders, and reassemble. Great product. I can't seem much advantage in a large bottle, a small bottle lasted me for like a year. The type I used was pink in color.
