It has been done for a while, very ornately by Mr. Monette.
On a sidenote, after visiting his website, I am amazed at his marketing skill. He has a new motuhpiece line that one again is the master cure-all, however, one must use a previous design first to get acclimated to a Monette style mouthpiece, then they can move on to the new "Prada" mouthpiece. My interpretation:
"Buy a $150 dollar trumpet mouthpiece, then one more, and maybe we will convince you to play right by teaching you yoga basics."
Please note:
I'm sure he makes good stuff, however, it seems hard to really justify all of his hoopla.
