I have had my YEB-632S for about a week. So far, it is my favorite Eb. I briefly owned a Wilson Eb about a year ago, it sounded and played great in all ranges, but it weighed a TON. Cost a fortune, and I, too, thought the valveset was difficult to get used to. My yamaha has almost the same sound as the Wilson, very resonant, the tuba just sings in all ranges;the 3+1 is taking some time getting used to but thats ok. The horn is also light. I don't mean flimsy; it is sturdy, but it doesn't weigh a ton.Great horn.
