I think Sam's "Makin' Whoopee" album might have a pretty wide listening audience, too. Granted, it's not solely a "tuba" recording. I've turned on the radio to hear tracks from it a few times, and have been told by a professional DJ friend that it's a top-10 CD for DJs all over the country who work events that cater to those in the upper age bracket. Most interestingly, though, I once stopped at a stoplight next to a van (driven by a non-tubist, I'm pretty sure) with speakers on the outside playing this CD for all to hear! Never got to find out who the guy is, and didn't get to read what was written on the side of the van.
