Cutting an old York

On a tip from a friend I went to the local Goodwill store and managed to aquire an old (1918) York Eb tuba for $100. It has a huge bell, about 18", and I have made it playable if you want to call it that. It is by know means a good looker or a great sounding tuba, not even comparable to my Miraphone 188 or my Alex F.

My question for the board is how much do you think it would cost to have a 4 or 5 valve, piston valve cluster grafted on to the sucker and have a nice little piston CC tuba. Also who could do this for me and do a good job. I have heard of and played a few Bob Rusk convertions but those are all large horns, this would be a small CC.

Thanks in advance,
Brendan Bohnhorst
