Here we go again, which psrk/parking lot filler is the better... I work strolling with a dixie trio, trombone, banjo & tuba in a touristy shopping village on week ends, 4 and often 6 hours at a time(naturally with breaks) My 190 has served me well but, typical of the German sound, even with my N4, Tommy Johnson Marc. mouthpiece, it still barks a bit...Sure would like to continue with big sound but prefer the darker and richer sounds I remember of my college days of the 20J but really need the 4 valves... I'm willing to pack the extra pounds. (The 190 is approx. 25 lbs.) Working in a trio, you have to share your burdon of solos (high & low range) to keep the entertainment interesting. any opinion?? Incidently, I haven't seen any posts regarding the 190 Mirafone...are they like the extinct Dodo Bird??
