I am something of a tinkerer as well, and with MPs it seems I've always come back to the same one I've used since college. I think it'd be interesting to try opening one like it up a tiny bit (per CK's advice and despite the humorous anecdote I've quoted above) but it seems impossible to locate additional examples of the MP I'd like to tinker with (a C9)
