The guy offering the Yamaha says it's a 4/4 and points me to the 201 on the Yamaha web site. I've asked him to confirm by reading what's on the horn or at least measuring the diameter of the bell as a 201 should have a 17.5 inch bell while the 102 is going to be just a bit over 14 inches. That was early this morning, he said he would get back to me.
Here's the question: if this is the YBB 201 would that be a good horn to get back into playing after 25 years off?
Would the Olds 3V BBb at Baltimore Brass for $650 still be a better choice, even though I can get the Yamaha for substantially less? (money is a factor, but not the most important one)
