The York is made from a lighter metal than the Getzen. By removing the Getzen bell and replacing it with the York the weight of the horn should be reduced. By how much I'm not sure- haven't had either bell off to weigh them. At this point any weight I could shave off would be good. The carbon fiber bell would certainly be much lighter than both the York and Getzen bells but I am quite weary of the different opinions I've heard regarding the CF bell.
