I owned one of these tubas for a few years before I bought my Mirafone. It was very similar to all of the other older B&S F tubas I have tried, except perhaps that the high register was a little brighter and the low register was even more unstable. It seems to me that these tubas were the same tubas as that B&S made in the late 70's, early 80's, marketed by another company. I don't believe there are any major physical differences between the horns.
