Hi fellow tubenetters,
Our school just finished doing 'Barnum', and I was there in the pit with the tuba part. At the end of the show, while the bows were going on the band was playing some filling music that went for about 15 minutes...
The tuba part to that was loud long low notes. By the time I finished that, my jaw was really aching. I'm pretty sure that I'm not meant to get a sore jaw just from playing loud, low and long.
What should I be doing to fix this?
