Son obtained a "ripple" in his tuba bell (air flight damage sustained in a Walt Johnson case no less). In addition, over time he has obtained a couple of other "creases - ripples - dents" in the bell.
Can these dents be successfully "rolled out?" Would a "dent eraser" work on the bell? Who do we take it to? He is at school in Tempe/Phoenix, so brass repair suggestions there are appreciated.
My main concern is maintaining the structural integrity & playing quality of the horn. The cosmetics are also a concern, but secondary to the integrity / playing quality of the horn.
