Instruments of the same model vary a great deal, and I've played worse and better Olds O-99 and Reynolds TB-10. (The very first one of these that I played was a Reynolds TB-10 sent "new" to my high school (c. 1973) in two hollowed-out blocks of styrofoam - (its "case"). That particular instrument "stunk". But honestly, except for the bell ring, engraving, and top valve caps, these two models were 100% identical and made by the same folks in the same building.*

*Later when Olds/Reynolds went out of business, Bach bought this tooling and made these with their workers in Indiana.
