My younger daughter stood 5'1" and weighed 98 lb as a freshman in HS in 1982 and had little trouble handling a big brass Conn sousaphone. Her biggest problem was handling the 2 cases it was carried in, she solved that by sweet-talking a 6'4" wrestler into "wrestling" it in & out of the equipment truck for her. She marched with it for 4 years and never weighed more than 108 lbs. You can do it!
