I am considering getting a dolly bag for a hirsbrunner 21 with pistons. I would really like to hear some good and bad in regards to the sideloading bags. Do they offer as much protection as the top loading?
I often use my bag to set my tuba down on it (flat rather than on the bell). Would this be impossible with the plastic inserts?
