I've got Roger Bobo's recording of the Penderecki, and the blatty low notes seem to be a necessity. However, on the other side of the spectrum, when Pat Sheridan hits the low notes in "ol' man river", its jsut about the best example i have of quality low notes on a tuba. After most of the rest of the Lollipops CD, I wondered if he would ever paly low. Well, he sure did on that one! Sweet stuff!
