Been there before. I can recall a Marine Band job where I took a sousaphone into the White House. I didn't bring it down, but I gave a chandelier a really good whack. Scared the bejeezus out of me. I'll never bring that horn in there again. I got the helicon for my outside gigs, and low ceilings are not a problem anymore.
