There is a brass band in the Fayetteville, Arkansas area that usually participates in the NABB events.
As far as community bands, I believe that there are some in both Fayetteville, Bentonville, and Harrison.
I am not sure about the commuinity bands, but I believe that I have heard the rumos that they exist. I am in Northeast Arkansas, but play in Branson periodically.
