Thanks all. Actually the action is not as pictured. If I remember corectly this is considered an "upright" model. I played it with my hand coming through the center to valves, which are aligned parallel to the bell. Sorry, can't get my digital to work until tomorrow. Will post a picture. If memory serves, we paid (AT) $1,200-$1,300 back in 76-77. Could this be accurate? OH!! Just took another look at it. It's a model # 1234... they stamped the model number on the bottom of the valve tubes.... #1 is on the first tube... #2 on the second.... :-)
