If you're in a wind band, you'll need to be able to play in "band" keys regardless of the fingerings you use. So material written for BBb instruments is a good source to play from.

The whole "for xxx tuba" on books doesn't make sense to me. Unless the book is designed with fingerings written for every tune, it can be played on any key tuba.

Take the BBb beginner/intermdediate books, and anywhere they have fingering stuff, write in the CC fingerings. I don't know if the make beginner books FOR CC tuba simply because most players don't start on CC.

Best advice I know: get any music you can, and learn to play it on your horn.

Good Luck!
